During the Market:03.40 pm. Nifty was under pressure of profit booking and closed at 4922 with a gain of 62 points over previous close. The auto, banks & metal sectors could retain part of the spurt whilst most other sectors lost the gains. The top gainers were RELCAPITAL, TATAMOTORS, HINDALCO, HEROHONDA & M&M, while the top losers were ITC, TATAPOWER, ABB, BPCL & TCS.
02.17 pm. During the budget presentation market has reacted positively to the IT relief and extension of stimulus withdrawal. Nifty touched a high of 4992 and Advance/Decline bettered to 44/6. Infrastructure as expected got the prime impetus in the budget allocations. The top gainers are RELCAPITAL, DLF, TATAMOTORS, M&M & SUZLON, while the top losers are ITC, TATAPOWER, TCS, ABB & HCLTECH.
10.09 am. Nifty has opened positive and has made a high of 4885 and a low of 4858. The market breadth is at present positively inclined with Advance/Decline at 36/14. During the Market:03.40 pm. After a dreary session Nifty closed almost flat at 4858 with a loss of 11 points. The Advance/Decline at close was 21/29. The top gainers of the session were MARUTI, IDEA, UNITECH, NTPC & RANBAXY, whilst the top losers were SUNPHARMA, M&M, TATAMOTORS, RCOM & CIPLA. Listless trading was the dominating feature.
02.02 pm. Infrastructure, Reality, Metals, and Public sector Banks are the stocks which may be accumulated for mid term to long term for handsome gains.
12.54 pm. Nifty moving sideways in tight range along the previous close. The trading is dull and weary, with Advance/Decline at 16/24. The top gainers are IDEA, HCLTECH, LT, MARUTI & AMBUJACEM, while the top losers are TATAMOTORS, M&M, SUNPHARMA, RCOM & CIPLA.

During the Market:03.40 pm. Nifty remained range bound throughout the session and finally closed flat at 4870 with a meager gain of 13 points. In the last leg of the session some short covering was witnessed in selected counters. The market breadth remained flat largely. 12.14 pm. For the last nearly three hours Nifty is floating just above the previous close without any clear perspective. Its range bound and Advance/Decline at 27/23. The top gainers are SUNPHARMA, AXISBANK, ICICIBANK, GRASIM & IDFC, while the top losers are M&M, HEROHONDA, MARUTI, CIPLA & CAIRN.

During the Market:03.40 pm. Nifty closed at 4856 being able to hold a gain of 11 points. The selling pressure was there in the afternoon session. The market became negatively inclined but found support at 4849 level and closed almost flat. During the Market:03.40 pm. Finally Nifty could manage to hold on to its early gains throughout the day and closed at 4914 with a gain of 58 points. The market breadth was wide but cautious. 01.58 pm. Profit selling is witnessed at the highs which is controlling the rise of Nifty. The 02.30 pm. factor may be deciding factor which way the Nifty settles.

02.20 pm. Nifty has made a smart recovery and has come up to 4793 and Advance/Decline has also recouped to 31/19. The top gainers are BHARTIARTL, PNB, HINDUNILVR, INFOSYSTCH & SUNPHARMA, while the top losers are TATASTEEL, GAIL, HINDALCO, IDFC & ITC.
12.16 pm. Nifty has tanked to make a low of 4675. This should act as bottom and recovery may take place.
11.04 am. Nifty was unable to sustain and dropped to 4700, the Advance/Decline dipping to 6/44. The top gainers are BHARTIARTL, HEROHONDA, SIEMENS, RCOM & PNB, while the top losers are TATAPOWER, TATASTEEL, ITC, BPCL & HINDALCO.
09.52 am. After opening lukewarm Nifty drifted to make a low of 4731 and thereafter started recouping. It has come back in the positive at 4769. The Advance/Decline is at 32/18. The top gainers are HEROHONDA, M&M, JPASSOCIAT, UNITECH & HINDUNILVR, while the top losers are TATAPOWER, ITC, CAIRN, ONGC & BHEL. Some recovery on account of short covering is possible.

During the Market:03.40 pm. After the morning dip Nifty lost all the steam & confidence and meekly operated in the tight range consolidating all the way. Nifty closed at 4718 down by whopping 126 points. Nifty remained at the lows while accumulation went on. The top gainers were TATAPOWER and HCLTECH, while the top losers were HINDALCO, RANBAXY, ONGC, SAIL & TATASTEEL.
01.00 pm. Weakness is unabated and insurmountable. Nifty is stuck and unable to gather steam.
11.34 am. Nifty opened very weak and made a low of 4715 with Advance/Decline dipping to 2/48. 09.24 am. Nifty opened with a positive gap at 4907 and made a high of 4951. It has come off the high and is trading at 4927. The Advance/Decline is a 39/11. The top gainers are HINDALCO, STER, TATAMOTORS, DLF & ACC, while the top losers are NTPC, GAIL, BHEL, ONGC & IDEA.

During the Market:03.50 pm. Nifty closed at 4899 with a gain of 17 points. Nifty was in negative territory for half of the time and in positive for the other half. It was a mixed bag performance, the top gainers were BPCL, GAIL, IDEA, JINDALSTEL & WIPRO, while the top losers were HINDUNILVR, RELCAP, HDFCBANK, SBIN & NTPC.
02.04 pm. Nifty has spiked up to touch 4918 and Advance/Decline at 37/13. The top gainers being BPCL, JINDALSTEL, UNITECH, AXISBANK & IDEA, while the top losers are HINDUNILVR, SBIN, RELCAPITAL, INFOSYSTCH & NTPC.
11.35 am. Nifty has retrieved the early morning loss and is trading near the previous close at 4870, it has ventured in the positive territory by touching 4895. The Advance/Decline is at 31/19. The top gainers are BPCL, UNITECH, JINDALSTEL, M&M & GAIL, while the top losers are INFOSYSTCH, RELCAPITAL, HINDUNILVR, HDFCBANK & HINDALCO.
09.27 am. Nifty opened with inherent weakness and made a low of 4831 with Advance/Decline at 16/34 with negative inclinations. The top gainers are IDEA, BPCL, BHEL, SUNPHARMA & SIEMENS, while the top losers are INFOSYSTCH, JPASSOCIAT, HINDUUNILVR, RELCAPITAL & HDFCBANK.
