31/Dec/09

During the Market:

03.45 pm. Nifty closed near the highs at 5201 recording a gain of points 31. The top gainers were JPASSOCIAT, AMBUJACEM, BPCL, SBIN & M&M, while the top losers were IDEA, RCOM, DLF, JINDALSTEL & PNB. The reality were under-performers whereas metals, auto and banks performed better and look promising for 2010.

12.58 pm. Nifty is moving sideways since opening and appears weak, it has come off the highs and is trading at 5206. The Advance/Decline is also slowly drifting lower at 41/9. The top gainers are JPASSOCIAT, SBIN, CAIRN, POWERGRID & M&M, while the top losers are DLF, JINDALSTEL, MARUTI, SIEMENS & HCLTECH.

11.31 am. Nifty at 5210 and is holding on to its early morning gains. Remember, today is the last day of F&O expiry, so, anytime it can behave unexpectedly. The Advance/Decline is at 47/3. JPASSOCIAT, POWERGRID, SUZLON, M&M & CAIRN are advancing, while SIEMENS, MARUTI & JINDALSTEL are declining.

10.45 am. Nifty has opened on a strong note and instantly touched 5205+ levels, currently is trading at 5213 with Advance/Decline at 49/1. The top gainers are NTPC, JPASSOCIAT, M&M, POWERGRID & RELIANCE, while the lone loser is MARUTI.

During the Market:

03.45 pm. It was a another day of nearly flat session accompanied by slight weakness. Nifty closed at 5169 with a loss of 18 points. Tomorrow the expiry day for F&O and may witness increased volatility. The time is ripe for the breakout it is only a matter of time, probably after shaking out the shares from weak hands, breakout may take place.

02.32 pm. The lackluster trading and rage bound movement of Nifty is best for keeping aloof. Nifty is trading at 5176 with Advance/Decline at 21/29. The top gainers are RELINFRA, UNITECH, ACC, GRASIM & RPOWER, while the top losers are HEROHONDA, JINDALSTEL, ITC, BPCL & SUNPHARMA.

10.03 am. Nifty has opened lukewarm and has made a high of 5197 and a low of 5183. Currently trading at 5192 with Advance/Decline at 28/22. The top gainers are BHARTIARTL, RPOWER, ICICIBANK, RELINFRA & HCLTECH, while the top losers are SUNPHARMA, CIPLA, HDFCBANK, ITC & NTPC.

During the Market:
03.45 pm. Nifty finally closed at 5187 almost flat gaining just 9 points. The high point of the day was 5214, but profit taking brought it down to near flat levels. The top gainers were RPOWER, RELINFRA, SUZLON, HINDALCO & AMBUJACEM, while the top losers were CIPLA, SUNPHARMA, DLF, WIPRO & ONGC.

02.33 pm. Nifty has made a high of 5211 and is trading at 5209. The Advance/Decline is at 38/12 promising a higher closing.

01.23 pm. Nifty is trading at 5206 with Advance/Decline at 34/16. The top gainers are RPOWER, SUZLON, RELINFRA, BHARTIARTL & NTPC, while the top losers are WIPRO, ONGC, TCS, ABB & HCLTECH. Nifty has broken off the consolidation part and seems promising.

10.43 am. Nifty on opening dipped to 5175 and thereafter zoomed to touch 5197 and then to make a high of 5202. Its now trading at 5187 with Advance/Decline at 30/20. The top gainers are RPOWER, NTPC, AMBUJACEM, POWERGRID & RELINFRA, while the top losers are HDFCBANK, ONGC, ABB, SUNPHARMA & HCLTECH.

During the Market:
03.45 pm. Nifty closed at 5178 with a gain of 33 points, the market breadth remained positive for most part of the session. Auto, Power & Reality helped the Nifty to attain these levels. The top gainers were TATAMOTORS, HINDALCO, RELINFRA, TATASTEEL & M&M, while the top losers were IDEA, RANBAXY, JPASSOCIAT, BHARTIARTL & CIPLA. The sudden spurt of buying was witnessed at fag end of the session. This type of move spaeks of the confidence the investors have in carrying their positions over the holidays, as the market shall open on TUESDAY.

03.10 pm. Nifty has surged forward to make a high of 5197 but has come off the highs to trade around 5190.

01.30 pm. Nifty seems consolidating before break out metals and reality sectors are expected to support the move.

10.10 am. Nifty opened optimistically and straightaway started the climb. It has touched  5177 and is trading at 5167, with Advance/Decline at 41/9. The top gainers are CAIRN, DLF, UNITECH, BHARTIARTL & HINDALCO, while the top losers are NTPC, SAIL, INFOSYSTCH, SUNPHARMA & TCS.

During the Market:
03.45 pm. Nifty closed at the high point of the day after an strong opening. The final close was at 5144 after making a high of 5150. Metals and Reliance helped the Nifty to perform the most.

03.15 pm. The recovery was expected to be at a fast pace, but not as fast as has been. Nifty is now trading at 5144 with Advance/Decline at 50/0. The top gainers are HINDALCO, NTPC, SAIL, STER & SUZLON.

01.18 pm. Nifty has breached 5100 comfortably and is trading at 5119  after touching a high of 5123. The Advance/Decline is at 50/0, denoting the power of the up-move.

11.11 am. Nifty has made a high of 5070 and is trading at 5063. The Advance/Decline has strengthened to 49/1. The top gainers are NTPC, RELIANCE, POWERGRID, SAIL & ICICIBANK, the lone marginal loser is BHARTIARTL .

10.35 am. Nifty opened with positivity and and is continuing the same at 5040 with Advance/Decline at 47/3 denoting the strength of the movement. The top gainers are NTPC, SAIL, ICICIBANK, RELIANCE & POWERGRID, while the three losers are BHARTIARTL, ITC & GRASIM. The upsurge will be watched crucially near 5050, if it surpasses this resistance then the next resistance may be around 5070,5090.

21/Dec/09

During the Market:
03.45 pm. For most part the session Nifty traded close to previous close and remained range bound. On the whole the trading was lackluster and difficult to trade. In the last part of the trading selling pressure brought down the Nifty to close at 4952 with a loss of 35 points. The lowest point of the day was 4943, this may be the last fall and Nifty may start improving from tomorrow onwards. In today's trading the top gainers were AXISBANK, TCS, CAIRN, RELIANCE & NTPC, while the top losers were HINDALCO, M&M, CIPLA, IDFC & HCLTECH.

03.23 pm. This is a good opportunity to pick stocks.

02.46 pm. Nifty moving near the day's low at 4966, but this may be the bottom and accumulation is advised at this point. The Advance/Decline is at 12/38. The top gainers are AXISBANK, TCS, RELIANCE, ICICIBANK & CAIRN, while the top losers are HINDALCO, M&M, JPASSOCIAT, CIPLA & IDFC.

12.17 pm. Nifty now doing 'see-saw' with the previous close. The Advance/decline has improved to 22/28 and Nifty is at 4989. The top advances are done by WIPRO, RELIANCE, TCS, AXISBANK & IDEA, while the top decliners are JPASSOCIAT, BHARTIARTL, CIPLA, HINDALCO & AMBUJACEM.

10.54 am. Nifty appears to have found bottom for the day at 4962, this may be the lowest point of the day, otherwise, Nifty may fall to test 4930. The Advance/Decline is negative with 15/35. The top gainers are WIPRO, TCS, RANBAXY, IDEA & TATASTEEL, on the other hand the top losers are JPASSOCIAT, GAIL, IDFC, BHEL & LT.

10.15 am. Nifty at 4975 after touching a high of 4997. It should find support at theses levels and start recovery. The Advance/Decline is at 15/35. The top gainers are WIPRO, TATAMOTORS, TCS, TATASTEEL & HCLTECH, while the top losers are JPASSOCIAT, UNITECH, SUNPHARMA, GAIL & ICICIBANK.

During the Market:
03.45 pm. Nifty as expected slipped to 4979 and finally closed at 4987 with a loss of 54 points. Market breadth ended negative with Advance/Decline dipping to 10/40. The day's top gainers were TATAMOTORS, HCLTECH, RANBAXY, TCS & SUNPHARMA, while the top decliners were UNITECH, GAIL, DLF, RELIANCE & STER. The Nifty was largely range-bound but in the last one hour of the trade it slipped sharply. Now the situation is worrisome but still not precarious. Unless Nifty breaks below 4920 buys are recommended. 

02.31 pm. As expected the Nifty has sunk below 5000 to be near the support of 4970. Its a sell off and Nifty has dipped to 4983 with Advance/Decline declining to 13/37. The top gainers are TATAMOTORS, WIPRO, HCLTECH, RANBAXY & CIPLA, while the top losers are UNITECH, GAIL, RELIANCE, IDEA & BHARTIARTL.

12.20 pm. After more than two and a half hours since opening Nifty is trading lackluster and range bound. The high/low made so far are 5042/5011, and Advance/Decline is at 25/25 a perfect even. Best would be to wait and watch, if Nifty goes down below 4970 then it will find support at 4920, further, if Nifty rises above 5220 only then the positivity will return. When Nifty crosses above 5130 only then the short covering may take place. If one is having a high risk profile only then he may trade in a range of 4970-5230.

11.20 am. Nifty range bound, Advance/Decline at 21/29. Top gainers are WIPRO, HCLTECH, TATAMOTORS, SUZLON & IDFC, while the top losers are IDEA, HDFC, UNITECH, ACC & GAIL.

10.29 am. Nifty is trading in the negative but in a range and consolidation mode.

09.57 am. After a lukewarm opening the Nifty touched 5011 and started the consolidation process. The Advance/Decline is at 12/38. The top gainers are WIPRO, SUZLON, TATAMOTORS, HCLTECH & TATAPOWER, while the top losers are ICICIBANK, MARUTI, UNITECH, RCOM & STER.

During the Market:
03.45 pm. After daylong calisthenics the Nifty closed in a flat close at 5041, in the absence of any cues, neither national, nor global.

02.21 pm. The food inflation rate has gone up by 19.95% over last week. Nifty is back in the positive territory at 5052 after making a high of 5062, with Advance/Decline at 34/16. The top gainers are HCLTECH, JPASSOCIAT, CIPLA, SUZLON & HINDALCO, while the top losers are DLF, UNITECH, BPCL, LT & IDEA.

01.06 pm. SEBI at present is underway deciding the modalities of extending the operation time of BSE/NSE. They are trying to justify their action under various abominable views. Why not to extend the markets 24 X 7, there would be no closing at all and it will increase the earnings manifold ? Most of the trades are now online so no perceptible problem. Nifty is weak at this moment, it has touched a low of 5013 and is trading at 5018. Advance/Decline is at 22/28. The top gainers are JPASSOCIAT, HCLTECH, HEROHONDA, TCS & CIPLA, on the other hand DLF, UNITECH, BHARTIARTL, BPCL & IDEA are the top losers.

12.08 pm. Nifty oscillating up and down the previous close with market breadth evenly poised and Advance/Decline at 26/24.

11.07 am. Nifty at 5045, venturing into the positive territory looking positive with Advance/Decline at 27/23. The movement of Nifty so far is very heartening. It is advancing slowly yet firmly. The top gainers are JPASSOCIAT, HCLTECH, SUZLON, HINDALCO & TCS, while the top losers are DLF, BPCL, IDEA, BHARTIARTL & GAIL.

10.27 am. Nifty has recovered to 5040 and Advance/Decline at 21/29. HCLTECH, HINDALCO, WIPRO, JPASSOCIAT & TCS are leading, while DLF, BPCL, IDEA, UNITECH & BHARTIARTL are lagging.

09.57 am. Nifty opened with meakness and touched a high of 5053 but could not sustain and hurriedly came down to negative region. Advance/Decline opened positive at 30/20 and came down to 21/29. A typical of consolidation day. The top gainers are WIPRO, CAIRN, TCS, TATASTEEL & BHEL, while the top losers are DLF, HDFC, RELINFRA, BHARTIARTL & LT.

03.45 pm. Nifty closed almost flat after daylong choppiness at 5042, registering a gain of 9 points. The top gainers were IDEA, M&M, TATAMOTORS, BHARTIARTL & GAIL, while the top losers were  AXISBANK, JPASSOCIAT, SBIN, BPCL & HINDUNILVR.

02.30 pm. Nifty has made a high of 5067 and is currently at 5060, with market breadth turning lukewarm and Advance/Decline rising to 34/16. The top gainers are IDEA, TATAMOTORS, BHARTIARTL, M&M & SIEMENS, while the top losers are AXISBANK, CIPLA, JPASSOCIAT, SAIL & BPCL.

01.42 pm. Nifty hovering around previous close with sideways movement but with marked choppiness. The Advance/Decline is at 19/31, showing the negativity. The top gainers are IDEA, BHARTIARTL, M&M, TATAMOTORS & SIEMENS, while the top losers are JPASSOCIAT, CIPLA, SAIL, AXISBANK & UNITECH.

12.25 pm. At 5028 Nifty has made a high of 5039 till now and is expected to move higher. The Advance/Decline is at 24/26. The top gainers are IDEA, TATAMOTORS, SIEMENS, BHARTIARTL & IDFC, while the top losers are SAIL, JPASSOCIAT, BPCL, AXISBANK & HDFCBANK.

11.25 am. Nifty trading at 5017 and Advance/Decline is at 20/30. Nifty is in moving close to previous close and needs to be overlooked till clearer indications are visible.

10.25 am. Nifty has made a low at 5001 and Advance/Decline at 15/35. SIEMENS, IDEA, BHARTIARTL, M&M & SUNPHARMA are the major gainers, while the major losers are SAIL, JPASSOCIAT, SUZLON, AXISBANK & RELCAPITAL.

09.57 am. Nifty has opened weak, as most of the Asian markets are in red and has made a low of 5011, with Advance/Decline at 17/33. The top gainers being BHARTIARTL, CIPLA, CAIRN, M&M & RCOM, while the top losers are AXISBANK, SAIL, SUZLON, UNITECH & ITC.The markets are expected to pull back and come in the positive territory.

During the Market:
03.45 pm. Nifty closed at 5033 with a loss of 72 points. The market breadth was depressive at 4/46 during closing. The  gainers were CIPLA, HINDALCO, INFOSYSTCH & WIPRO, while the top losers were IDFC, GAIL, RCOM, AXISBANK & SUZLON. The global markets are also turning red. The drop in crude oil price had already signalled the imminent danger very early. It is to be seen that, is this the last dip before breakout, or, the market has got into the tailspin.

02.30 pm. Nifty at 5054 and the market is negatively inclined with Advance/Decline at 18/32. CIPLA, SAIL, HINDALCO, HINDUNILVR & TATASTEEL are the major gainers, while IDFC, TATAMOTORS, RCOM, ICICIBANK & AXISBANK are the major losers. This seems to be the better point to accumulate.

01.44 pm. Nifty turning weaker and have touched a low of 5064 and Advance/Decline to 18/32. The top gainers are CIPLA, HINDALCO, SAIL, TATASTEEL & HINDUNILVR, while the top losers are IDFC, RCOM, ICICIBANK, SBIN & GAIL. Now further downside may be seen before recovery or short covering near the end of the session.

01.04 pm. The longer the Nifty stays in a small range stronger it becomes and that stronger shall be the breakout. Nifty at present 5085and Advance/Decline at 22/28.

11.53 am. Nifty has come down to 5093 and Advance/Decline at 22/28. This appears as a consolidation move. The top gainers are CIPLA, HINDALCO, M&M, TATASTEEL & SIEMENS, while the top losers are IDFC, RCOM, SBIN, PNB & BHARTIARTL. Nifty likely to trade sideways.

10.48 am. Nifty opened lukewarm and touched 5128 and slid to 5107. With mild market breadth nifty covered some ground and is trading at 5117 with Advance/Decline at 32/18. The top gainers are M&M, SIEMENS, TATASTEEL, CIPLA & HINDALCO, while the top losers are IDFC, PNB, GAIL, IDEA & RCOM.

The top gainers were ACC, RANBAXY, GRASIM, SIEMENS & WIPRO, while the top losers were BHARTIARTL, JINDALSTEL, HINDUNILVR, IDEA & ICICIBANK.

02.53 pm. Nifty has come down on account of profit taking to 51104 and Advance/Decline to 19/31. The top gainers are ACC, RANBAXY, SIEMENS, BHEL & INFOSYSTCH, while the top losers are BHARTIARTL, JINDALSTEL, IDEA, HDFCBANK & ICICIBANK.

01.11 pm. Nifty is trading at 5145 and is moving sideways as for now. The Advance/Decline is at 38/12 and not much change.

12.10 pm. Nifty has made a high at 5156, it is now trading at 5142 with Advance/Decline at 37/13. The top gainers are ACC, SIEMENS, M&M, GRASIM & INFOSYSTCH, while the top losers are BHARTIARTL, JINDALSTEL, IDEA, DLF & HDFCBANK.

11.11 am. There is a vacuum of national triggers, the repayment help of Abu Dhabi to Dubai debt crisis has acted as the sole global trigger. Nifty at 5134 after having made a high of 5144. The market breadth is positive with Advance/Decline at 34/16. The top gainers are SIEMENS, SUNPHARMA, M&M, GRASIM & ONGC, while the top losers are BHARTIARTL, IDEA, JINDALSTEL, CAIRN & RCOM.

10.05 am. Nifty started weak and made a low of 5101 but quickly recouped and made a high of 5144. The Advance/Decline is at 42/8 and looks promising. The top gainers are HINDALCO, CIPLA, JPASSOCIAT, HEROHONDA & ABB, while the top losers are CAIRN, BHARTIARTL, HDFCBANK, IDEA & JINDALSTEL.

The session post declaration of IIP data saw a bout of profit taking/selling on the pretext of below expectation of IIP numbers. The top gainers were BHEL, SAIL, JINDALSTEL, ABB & GRASIM, while the top losers were BHARTIARTL, UNITECH, AXISBANK, SUZLON & M&M.

03.01 pm. Nifty at 5123 and Advance/Decline at 17/33. The top gainers are BHEL, JINDALSTEL, ABB, SAIL & RELINFRA, while the top losers are BHARTIARTL, SUZLON, UNITECH, AXISBANK & BPCL.

02.01 pm. Nifty back to square one at 5132, Advance/Decline at 19/31. The top gainers are BHEL, JINDALSTEL, ABB, GRASIM & SAIL, while the top losers are IDEA, BHARTIARTL, SUZLON, AXISBANK & BPCL.

12.49 pm. IIP data for October month has come at 10.3%  vs 9.1% and the Nifty found a reason to react negatively. The real reason is profit booking at levels of 5180. Nifty has come off its high of 5182 and dipped negative territory. Nifty touched a low of 5102 before recovering to 5120. The Advance/Decline is at 13/37. The top gainers being BHEL, ABB, JINDALSTEL, INFOSYSTCH & SAIL, while the top losers are IDEA, BHARTIARTL, BPCL, CIPLA & CAIRN.

11.28 am. Nifty wandering near the high point and waiting to react to the IIP numbers. Advance/Decline is optimistic at 43/7.

10.25 am. Nifty has opened on strong note and instantly made a high of 5176 with the support of Advance/Decline at 45/5. The top gainers are BHEL, RCOM, JINDALSTEL, SAIl & DLF, while the top losers are CAIRN, HCLTECH, BPCL, AMBUJACEM & HINDUNILVR. Now it is consolidating its gain.

03.45 pm. Nifty closed near the high at 5134 with a gain of 22
points. The market breadth changed to positive after buy back in the post noon session. 02.28 pm. In the post noon session Nifty turned the tables and pushed forward with reversal in territory. The market breadth changed to positive with Advance/Decline rising to 28/22, and Nifty making a new high of 5146 and trading firmly at 5141. The top gainers are BHARTIARTL, IDEA, SAIL, BHEL & RCOM, while the top losers are SUNPHARMA, CIPLA, HEROHONDA, HINDUNILVR & HDFCBANK.

11.25 am. Nifty is range bound and the market breadth is a clear negative with Advance/Decline at 15/35.

10.02 am. Nifty opened weak and has made a low of 5096, the market breadth is equally poised with Advance/Decline at 25/25. The top gainers are TATASTEEL, SUZLON, HINDALCO, BPCL & SAIL, while the top losers are HDFCBANK, CIPLA, HINDUNILVR, CAIRN & AXISBANK.

03.45 pm. It was a lackluster session, dominated by sideways movement with negative bias. Metals were under the pressure since the start, the market breadth remained in the negative all through. Nifty started weak and remained weak finally closing at 5112 with a loss of 35 points. The top gainers were IDEA, MARUTI, RPOWER, HCLTECH & HEROHONDA, while the top losers were TATASTEEL, STER, HINDALCO, SAIL & HDFC. 

03.04 pm. Nifty is moving in a range at 5106 with negative market breadth. The Advance/Decline is at 16/34. Metals have experienced the pressure and have eased out.

01.44 pm. Nifty at 5118 with market breadth inclining negative. The Advance/Decline is at 19/31. The Nifty has made an low of 5090 and till now has traded in the negative. The top gainers are IDEA, HEROHONDA, HCLTECH, MARUTI & TCS, while the top losers are TATASTEEL, SAIL, HINDALCO,  STER & AXISBANK.

11.36 am. Nifty is in consolidation mode. It has made a high of 5147 and the market breadth is turning neutral with Advance/Decline at 23/27. The top gainers are HEROHONDA, HCLTECH, RANBAXY, GAIL & WIPRO, while the top losers are TATASTEEL, STER, HDFC, AXISBANK & RELINFRA.

10.05 am. Nifty opened weak in conformance to the global cues and made a low of 5109, thereafter, it is recouping. Its trading at 5129 with negative market breadth at 15/35. The major gainers are HCLTECH, JINDALSTEL, GAIL, CIPLA & RANBAXY, on the other hand the major losers are STER, TATASTEEL, UNITECH, SAIL & HDFC. This appears to be a day of consolidation.

03.45 pm. Nifty exhibited resilience and closed near the day's high at 5147 with a gain of 81 points. The top gainers were UNITECH, BHARTIARTL, DLF, AMBUJACEM & JINDALSTEL, while the top losers were CIPLA, SBIN, MARUTI, RANBAXY & HEROHONDA. Its an India Inc.'s ovation to PM Mr.Manmohan Singh's fruitful and result-oriented Russian tour.

02.44 pm. Nifty is moving in a range at 5133, the Advance/Decline is maintained at 43/7. As Nifty may near 03.00 pm. chances of profit taking may emerge and the last half an hour may see consolidation.

02.02 pm. Nifty has suddenly spurted almost vertically making a high of 5137 with Advance/Decline at 43/7. It may make an attempt to touch 5160 where certain resistance may be felt. The top gainers are BHARTIARTL, CAIRN, BPCL, JINDALSTEL & AXISBANK, while the top losers are CIPLA, SBIN, RCOM, HEROHONDA & RANBAXY.

12.30 pm. Nifty at 5097 after making a high of 5106, the market breadth is positively inclined and Advance/Decline is at 40/10. The top gainers are TATASTEEL, JINDALSTEL, BHARTIARTL, BPCL & SUZLON, while the top losers are RCOM, SBIN, CIPLA, TCS & HEROHONDA. Nifty at present is consolidating its gains.

10.05 pm. The Nifty turned positive after mild opening and touched 5090. Metals are leading while Banking sector is declining.

03.40 pm. Today was another day of consolidation, Nifty closed at 5116 with a loss of 17 points. The major gainers were CIPLA, BPCL, IDEA, JINDALSTEL & BHARTIARTL, while the top losers were GAIL, MARUTI, RPOWER, UNITECH & CAIRN. The high point of the day was 5161 and low was at 5081.

10.10 am. Nifty after opening flat plunged to make a low of 5089, thereafter its has recovered to 5120. Its is on pah of consolidation. The market breadth is negatively inclined with Advance/Decline at  16/34. The top gainers are HINDALCO, CIPLA, BPCL, INFOSYSTCH & HCLTECH, while the top losers are GAIL, UNITECH, MARUTI, ICICIBANK & RCOM.

03.45 pm. Nifty closed at 5131 with just 8 points gain. Investors were unable to control the greed of profiteering at the levels of 5181. Anyway, the Nifty has closed strong and in next few sessions may see a breakout. Its good the amount of time spent by Nifty at a level consolidates it further. Those who have patience shall get higher profits.

02.29 pm. Nifty is in consolidation mode and it is strongly advised not to sell now rather wait for the breakout. Nifty currently is trading at 5160 and Advance/Decline is favorably inclined at 41/9. 11.51 am. Nifty is trading at 5159 after making a high of 5168, with wide market breadth, the Advance/Decline is at 45/5. The major gainers are CIPLA, RELCAPITAL, RPOWER, ACC & GRASIM, while the top losers are TATAMOTORS, CAIRN, IDFC, LT & INFOSYSTCH.

01.30 pm. Nifty at 5129 with more decliners than advancing stocks but fairly stable situation. The Advance/Decline is at 23/27 and Nifty still in consolidating mode.

02.17 pm. Nifty has made a new high of 5105 and trading at 5098 with wide market breadth, Advance/Decline being at 41/9. The top gainers are UNITECH, SUNPHARMA, TATAMOTORS, DLF & BPCL, on the other hand the top losers are HINDUNILVR, GAIL, TATAPOWER, BHEL & TCS.

12.25 pm. Nifty at 5077 after dropping from the high of 5088. The market breadth is still wide and Advance/Decline is at 42/8. Nifty is consolidating at these levels. Realty and Metals are leading.

11.34 am. Nifty at 5080 and the market breadth is wide with Advance/Decline at 43/7. Nifty has made a high of 5088 as of now. The gainers are led by UNITECH, SUNPHARMA, JINDALSTEL, CIPLA & STER, while the losers are led by GAIL, HINDUNILVR, INFOSYSTCH, TCS & BHEL.
